18 July | Men's 470 Medal Race
On the 18th of July the medal races took place at the Delta Lloyd 470 World Championships. Matthew Belcher and Malcolm Page entered the final race in Golden position. Nicolas Charbonnier and Baptiste Meyer Dieu (FRA) claimed the silver medal, Sime Fantela and Igor Marenic (CRO) bronze. |

18 July | Women's 470 Medal Race
Lisa Westerhof and Lobke Berkhout took their second World Title as a team on the 18th of July. Berkhout set a new 470 class record with 5 women's 470 world titles. The medal race saw a fierce battle between the NED and NZL Ladies. |

The Medal Races of the 2010 Delta Lloyd 470 Worlds took place on 18 July 2010. In front of The Hague in The Netherlands, competition got fierce. Finally Matthew Belcher and Malcolm Page (Australia) claimed the gold medal, while Lisa Westerhof and Lobke Berkhout (Netherlands) succesfully defended their World title in the Women's 470. |
